Closer view of the control panel. I used some premo pine for control panel! $18 worth of choice pine from Home Depot. It was nice because it's very straight, looks good, and didn't need much surface sanding. The control panel slides over a pair of 2x4s so if I want to make a different control panel in the future I'll have that flexibility. I'm planning on drilling holes in the sides and through the 2x4 supports to allow it to be bolted in and semi-easily removed. (Oct. 3, 2007 1:08am)
